Pipevest was born in a coffee shop in Lisbon when two African entrepreneurs, driven by a shared passion for solving the continent's biggest financial challenges, met over coffee and started exchanging stories.

Having spent more than a decade in Africa's fintech space, we knew the struggle firsthand: launching new, regulated products was slow, expensive, and riddled with complexity.

So we asked ourselves a simple question: What if companies could integrate a single API and launch financial products in weeks, not years?

That was the moment Pipevest became inevitable.
